Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of TruckerProfits. Written in plain English wherever possible — the caps-lock sections are legally required disclaimers, not us shouting at you.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, downloading, installing, or using TruckerProfits ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers, including free-tier users and paid subscribers. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
TruckerProfits is a load-profitability scoring tool that helps owner-operator truck drivers quickly estimate whether a freight load is financially worthwhile. Based on inputs you provide — offered rate, miles, fuel cost, and your operating-cost profile — the Service calculates an estimated net profit, revenue per mile, cost per mile, and a suggested verdict (Take It / Borderline / Pass). The Service is provided by WSG Global LLC (d/b/a Fleet United LLC), an Illinois limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"), and is intended for independent owner-operators and small-fleet operators in the United States.
3. No Financial or Business Advice
TruckerProfits does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, or business advice. All scoring verdicts, profit estimates, and cost calculations are approximations based solely on the inputs you enter. Fuel prices, toll estimates, and other variable costs built into the Service are industry averages and may not reflect your actual costs on any given day or route. You are solely responsible for all load decisions you make. No output from this Service should be treated as a guarantee of actual profit or loss. WSG Global LLC (d/b/a Fleet United LLC) and its creators, officers, and affiliates expressly disclaim any responsibility for business decisions made in reliance on Service output.
4. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share your account with others, transfer your account, or create accounts on behalf of others without our written authorization. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal
TruckerProfits offers a free tier and two paid subscription plans: Driver at $9.99/month and Fleet at $29.99/month, each billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Automatic renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each monthly billing period at the then-current price for that plan, and your payment method is automatically charged, until you cancel. We show you the plan name, price, and billing frequency before you subscribe, and you affirmatively consent to these recurring charges at checkout. How to cancel: You may cancel at any time — canceling is as easy as signing up. Cancel from your account settings (Manage Subscription) in a few clicks, through the Stripe customer portal, or by emailing support@truckerprofits.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; it takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and you keep access through that period. We do not charge a fee to cancel. Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any change to your subscription price takes effect, and the change applies only to renewals after the notice period. California residents (Automatic Renewal Law): You may cancel online at any time. We will send you a renewal reminder where required by law. To cancel, use the Manage Subscription option in your account settings or email support@truckerprofits.com.
6. Refunds & Cancellations
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. When you cancel, your access continues through the end of the current paid month and you are not charged again. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months or unused time, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@truckerprofits.com and we will review it in good faith.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service; (b) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, networks, or data; (d) upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to damage or interfere with the Service; (e) scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service by automated means without our written consent; (f) resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the Service without our written permission; (g) impersonate another person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation; (h) use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and all its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to the scoring algorithm, user interface design, text, graphics, and software — are owned by WSG Global LLC (d/b/a Fleet United LLC) and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written consent. The TruckerProfits name and logo are trademarks of WSG Global LLC (d/b/a Fleet United LLC).
9. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at truckerprofits.com/privacy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Load scoring inputs you enter are processed to generate results; depending on the version of the Service, this data may be stored locally on your device or synced to our servers as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WSG GLOBAL LLC (D/B/A FLEET UNITED LLC) DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. FUEL PRICES, TOLL ESTIMATES, AND OTHER THIRD-PARTY DATA USED IN CALCULATIONS ARE APPROXIMATIONS AND MAY NOT REFLECT CURRENT MARKET CONDITIONS. SCORING VERDICTS (TAKE IT / BORDERLINE / PASS) ARE ALGORITHMIC ESTIMATES ONLY AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL ADVICE OF ANY KIND.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WSG GLOBAL LLC (D/B/A FLEET UNITED LLC) AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES; IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WSG Global LLC (d/b/a Fleet United LLC) and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any business decision you make based on Service output.
13. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (payment processing), Clerk (authentication), and Resend (email). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. WSG Global LLC (d/b/a Fleet United LLC) is not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party service.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois. You waive any objection to personal jurisdiction or venue in those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email to your registered address or by a prominent in-app notice before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service before the changes take effect.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to violation of these Terms, failure to pay, or conduct that we determine to be harmful to other users or to the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 3, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.
