How does TruckerProfits calculate my profit?
Enter your pickup city, drop city, and the broker's offered rate. TruckerProfits calculates: fuel cost (your MPG × regional diesel price), tolls, broker fee (default 18%, overridable per load), deadhead miles from your current location, and your fixed monthly costs spread per mile. Subtract all of that from the offered rate — your net profit appears in about 10 seconds.
How accurate are the estimates?
The numbers are realistic but not live-data accurate. Fuel prices use regional EIA diesel averages. Distances come from a city-pair lookup table — enter the broker's exact mileage in the Miles field to override it. Market rates and broker scores are algorithmic estimates, not live DAT feeds. Keep your truck profile up to date in My Truck for the best accuracy.
What's included in the free tier?
The free tier lets you score unlimited loads with no account required — the same math as paid plans. It shows ads and does not include CSV export or P&L email reports. Your history is saved locally on your device.
What does the verdict mean — GO, WARN, or PASS?
GO (green) means the load meets or exceeds your target margin — take it. WARN (orange) means it's borderline: profitable but below your target. The app shows a counter-offer rate so you can negotiate up. PASS (red) means you'd lose money or come in well below your minimum — decline it. You set your target margin in the P&L tab (default 22%).
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the account menu (your initials, top right of the dashboard) and tap "Manage subscription." This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel in one click. Your access continues through the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees, no questions asked.
Can I use this on my phone?
Yes — TruckerProfits is designed mobile-first. Open truckerprofits.com in Chrome or Safari on your phone. To add it to your home screen: in Safari tap the Share button and select "Add to Home Screen"; in Chrome tap the three-dot menu and select "Add to Home Screen." No app store download needed.
Is my load history saved if I close the browser?
Yes. Your history, truck profile, and settings are saved in your browser's local storage and persist between sessions on the same device. Clearing browser data or switching devices will not carry the history over. Sign in with an account to associate your data for future cross-device access.
My sign-in isn't working. What do I do?
Try signing in at truckerprofits.com directly in a browser. If you see a CAPTCHA error, clear your browser cookies and try again. Still stuck? Email support@truckerprofits.com with your email address and we'll resolve it within 24 hours.
